Jobwhee is a marketplace for local services in Greece. A client posts a job, local professionals answer with their price, and the client picks one. The client's payment is held in Money in Secure and reaches the professional the moment the client approves the work. Posting a job and browsing cost nothing, and a service fee applies only on a job that is completed.
What is Money in Secure?
Money in Secure is where a client's payment sits from the moment the job is funded until the client approves the work. Nobody can move it in between, and the professional can see it is there before starting.
What does jobwhee charge?
A service fee on each completed job, charged to both sides and always shown before anything is agreed. Nothing to post a job, nothing to browse, nothing to send a proposal, nothing to make contact, and no subscription. The full breakdown lives on the fees page.
What if the work is not done?
You do not approve it, and the money stays where it is. If the two sides cannot agree, either can open a dispute and a person at jobwhee looks at the job and decides.
How soon does a professional get paid?
The payment leaves Money in Secure the moment the client approves. Reaching the bank takes one to three days, which is the bank's time and not ours.
Can a release be reversed?
No. Once the client presses Release the money is on its way to the professional and it cannot be called back. The confirmation says so before you press it.
Which languages does jobwhee support?
